The Club Weekend at Invergarry, (Johns last Munro).

​

Despite the weather forecast for high winds and heavy rain, we ventured out on the Saturday, leaving earlier than we would normally, to try and beat the worst of the weather.

​

All got to the summit all be it a bit blown about a bit by the pretty strong winds at times. After celebrating John’s final Munro, some of the party continued over to the other Munro and bagged that as well, the rest headed down to the cars, and the lodge.

​

The Sunday morning being very wet most of the group headed home.

​

Good weekend in spite of the weather, good company, with good food, just a smidgen of alcohol... and a reason to celebrate.
