Still not sure?

We appreciate that it can be quite daunting to launch yourself into a new group, and even into a new pastime. We are passionate about the Scottish hills (no, we really are, but we're also there for the craic and the laughter), and we want to help others to enjoy them too.

So, for those who need it, we have a buddy system, to encourage you to come out with us, advise you on what kit to get and bring, lend you stuff that you might need, and generally help you through the difficulties of the first few outings.

If you're new to the Scottish hills, you might find useful these notes on Hillwalking in Scotland and this kit list.

Everyone should read this disclaimer, too.
