With a pretty good forecast we headed out to Ben Ime and the Cobbler. Needless to say it came hosing down from leaving the car to returning.
Got to Ime soaking so left the Cobbler for another day.

Club Sunday. Great day out in the sun with the Magnificent Seven. Steep climb from Ardgartan to the top of The Brack, quite a breath catcher ! Rewarded with fantastic views.
Brilliant day out with some great craic.
Stuart Mckie, 6 November 2023
Club Sunday with seven out on Meall Ghaordaidh. Both Campbell, continuing his recovery, and Iain putting in a great effort to get to the top. Beautiful day but chilly at the summit. Good to see David tick off another Munro too.
Diane Langley, 11 November 2023
Great forecast for ascent of Ben Vane, and a little bit of snaw. 4th time up it for me.
Alex Haken, 11 November 2023
Summit of Meall nan Aighean (Glen Lyon) last night @ 11.30pm. Lots of snow and quite windy. Camped in the Coll between 1st and 2nd Munro’s. Didn’t get much sleep due to the wind. Up early to see the sunrise. Wind dropped during the day today. Snow level about 800mt. First snow of the year for me - Smashing! Bring it on…..

Best laid plans abandoned after too much Christmas spirit and we didn't get out to where we intended. Still made it out to the Trossachs and had a fab day. Home in the dark.
Merry Christmas to you all

Some more photos from the weekend. Stayed in Corryhully bothy on Friday night and did the anticlockwise round over Sgur Thuilm before summit camp right next to the trig on Sgurr Nan Coireachan Sat night. Thermometer said minus 6 at 3am, but warmed up to a balmy minus 3 by 7. Sunrise and sunset were cracking!

Climbing one of the routes on the south corrie of Ben Vorlich today. Mixed conditions, still a lot of turf on the south side where as opposite on the north side. Great weather but cold up top in the wind.

Well done Stas and all the committee for supplying a great meal for us all at our Burns Supper February weekend.
A jaunt up the Pap of Glencoe. Think the weather was kind to us all on Saturday.
Thanks again for all the hard work arranging the club weekend.

Great ice, snowed all day. Feels like I’m home again…
Alex Haken, Rjukan, Norway, 20 February 2024
I have never seen so much snow fall in 24hrs. All routes plastered in snow today. At least the sun came out.
Last day of our Norway week. Lower Gorge today. Somewhere new for all of us. That’s Vemork power station up above. The ‘Heavy Water’ plant from Heros of Telemark.
Stuart McKie, 25 February 2024
Rehab continued today for Stas. We had a great day on Ben Venue. Some tricky verglas sections were negotiated effortlessly by my returning partner. It was a brilliant day to be on the hill.
